WALK IN THE PARK

I don’t believe that I can change your mind
And I have no say on the tides out at sea
I can’t compete with the knowledge of some folks
But I’ll treat you like you were me.

That doesn’t mean it’s a walk in the park
And that does not mean I won’t slip
I still believe we can get where we’re going
As long as we live our own dream

I see no reason to fear any culture
And I see no reason to impose my own
‘Cause if I’d been born in a far away mountain
You know I’d still sing my own song

And that doesn’t mean it’s a walk in the park
Sometimes it means walking alone
So, I’ll stumble on, with no guide and no master
And I’ll think of you when I’m gone
I’ll stumble on, with no guide and no master
And I’ll think of you when I’m gone
